SKP Retro is a new classic car hire company which is run along side Southern Kombi Parts who are based in Hooe, East Sussex.

SKP Retro provides Classic Cars for self hire, Chauffeur driven wedding hire and event hire. If you fancy recreating nostalgic moments with cars from your past or you have a need for a chauffeur driven experience with a classic car then why not see what we can offer you.

As with all companies, they have a beginning and this is ours…..

Our first car available to you is a 1972 VW Beetle 1302LS Karmann Cabriolet affectionately known as “Jeff”.

Originally from Italy, this car was imported into the UK in the mid 80’s. He was restored about 10 years ago to a good standard and has been garage for the last 3-4 years.

We purchased him in early April 2011 and although solid and complete it was showing its age a little and was in need of a freshen up so we proceeded to breath new life back into him whith a fresh paint job in Pastel White, new wheels and some new rubber for the windows. He has a few new goodies awaiting arrival such as seat covers and carpets amongst other things.

We’ve been working against the clock to get him ready for the first May Bank Holiday for his first journey out to the Magnificent Motor classic car show in Eastbourne.
